houndzrus
Haven't been there for a while and would love to meet up with other Fugees for a nice doggy walk. (I can bring cake!). Thinking of meeting up about twelve?

houndzrus
Sounds lovely but will probably be working it with elections being on 6th That's a shame Well, if there are no takers for this date, we could always do another day?
lil_angel
I just googled it. Is this the one in Derbyshire? Maybe if you organised walk for another date could do it if went camping closer for weekend as its over 3 hours from here.
zico's mum
Was about to ask where it is but if it's Derbyshire that's a tad far from Somerset for a walk

There are a couple of campsites close by, one in the Knockerdown inn. (very basic) and one called Carsington campsite, bit pricier, but friendly owner there. has electric hook up. We could manage an overnight trip. http://www.carsingtoncaravaning.co.uk/ http://www.knockerdown-inn.co.uk/caravan-camping/
smirnoff
I'd love to and I only live 10 minutes away - but my collie is currently going through a really skittish stage and she'd completely freak out with one other dog around, never mind several of them. Trying to work out what's unsettled her but it's going to be a slow process.

owl
We will happily meet you at Carsington Water any time you like. I have never been there but it's only 29 miles from me. Hope you can get your collie sorted out, Smirnoff. Edited April 14, 2011 by owl
houndzrus
owl. On second thoughts, we probably won't camp, will need at least one day of a weekend for the allotment once the growing gets underway! Still a nice day trip for us though. Jacobean
Sounds like a good idea but I'm guessing I would get horribly lost and Amy knows what a pickle I get into when I do.

Don't know what to do about the walk now. If I changed the date, would more of you be able to make it? If so, what dates? Spring bank holiday weekend? Saturday or Sunday? OR Shall we go with this date and try for another later in the year? I'm so indecisive.
