Fee
Bonnie is a beautiful 11 year old long-haired German Shepherd lady who is in an Oldies Club foster home in Milton Keynes, Bucks, waiting for someone to offer her a permanent home. Bonnie came into our care because her loving owner sadly developed an allergy to dogs. Settling in: Bonnie settled into her foster home within a couple of days and she has proved to be happy to be left alone for a few hours when she has another dog for company. Social skills: Bonnie is great with dogs and has been friendly with all she has met. She doesn't like cats though and chases the ones in her foster home! Bonnie is great with children. She has met children of 8 years and up since being in foster and she loves them! Anyone want to play? Out and about: Bonnie is great out and about. She needs a few reminders to not pull at the start of a walk, but she soon settles into it. She's very good off lead and doesn't go too far from you. She's also good in the car, but needs a little help to get in. Likes and dislikes: Bonnie likes seeing what you're up to, snoozing and short walks. And she's so laid back that there's nothing she really doesn't like. Bonnie's perfect home: A family life would be perfect for Bonnie as she really loves children and the attention they give her. She'd either like to be with other dogs for company or with someone who is home most of the time. Health notes: Bonnie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea-treated. She's currently on Rimadyl for arthritis which is working wonderfully and will need to be continued. She has a few small bumps on her leg but the vet says a course of antibiotics should clear that.< Summing up Bonnie: Her foster carer tells us "Someone will be very lucky to have Bonnie. She will bark at a knock on the door but then welcomes strangers. She is very well behaved around food (dogs' and humans' food) and is very respectful. She has been 100% clean in the house from Day 1 and she is quiet through the night. I would sum her up as beautiful, loving, clever and obedient". Can you resist my over the shoulder pose? ————- If you can offer Bonnie a permanent home, please refer to our Adoption Proceduresfor information about the adoption process. You can then contact an Oldies Club rehoming co-ordinator as follows: Email: [email protected] Telephone: 0844 586 8656 She can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, subject to a satisfactory home visit, but note that you will be required to travel to the foster home to meet her.
