Ian
Apparently bought to demonstrate the British Bulldog spirit as we lead upto the World Cup it apparently didn't occur (or matter?) to Victoria that they'd be leaving the country within days, she just bought David a dog anyway http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1239792/Why-DID-Victoria-Beckham-buy-David-bulldog-Christmas.html Now, whether permanent or temporary they are off overseas & the dog has been passed on to Gordon Ramsay - one of several they've left behind or passed on isn't he? A great example to the nation I'm sure. Now what's that saying about some people having more money than sense? http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/2801148/David-Beckham-palms-off-pet-dog-to-pal-Gordon-Ramsay.html
suzeanna
Money is no guarantee of good sense is it? The person who sold them the dog must have realised that it wasn't exactly going to a stable home environment, but I suppose the money over ruled any consideration for the poor dog! Gordon Ramsay doesn't stay at home for long either, so no doubt it will get passed on again.

There's also the kudos factor for the breeder, good business to be able to tell other buyers that the Beckhams bought one of their pups, I think thats as much as some buyers would need to hear to make them part with their cash
Red Rotties
Gorden Ramsey already has a bulldog so hopefully it will be more wanted there
owl
This appalling pair had 2 rotts but passed them on when their first child was expected, because they didn't want them in the same household as the baby in case of harm. What a disgusting example they set
Ian
I'm not sure whether they just left them with staff at their UK home in the end - some reports say he refused to let them go even though she wanted him to. Although the Mail article talks of him having two rotties it may or may not be those two as they (or security staff?) also bought two rotties in Spain - which they left for America until he decided he needed to be back again to make the England team I don't know I read it as he's offered but it didn't say whether that was accepted or not. From what I've read the Beckhams left behind / still have 2 rotties that live at their UK mansion (though they must be old for a rottie now if that's true) He bought her a Sharpei for valentines day 2004 which according to the Mail they also reportedly gave away This one claims she had a Yorkie named Twiggy (mentioned in The Mail too) that was being sent to "boot camp" & she'd wanted to leave her behind when they moved to LA also that she'd wanted to get rid of the rotties when the boys were born. http://www.petshed.c...ce-pet-dog.html & http://popdirt.com/p...tweilers/55984/ Despite that they are supposed to have bought two rotties in 2003 for security use in Spain http://www.contactmu...weiler-security Just how many dogs can any one couple own, leave behind or give away in 12 years before someone says you're not buying any of mine? I'd hope they've been turned down by the ones who really do care about their pups and their breed, but there are just as many out there who'll be more than happy to sell to them. Cafferysmum
Those two im sorry are a coffee bean short of a jar when it comes to pets.. buy, keep, get rid, buy keep get rid... more money than sense.. but if they went to a breeder it would be kudos oh the beckhams have bought one of my pups etc.. just because they are rich and have sort of talents, doesnt make them the brightest spark in the tunnel on everything.. they need to be educated
