I have to say a big thank you to ReikiAnge for pointing me in the direction of Helios (www.helios.co.uk) a while ago. The service and pricing is fantastic and next day delivery as well. I have just ordered a load of stuff including some Triple A in two different potencies, some Arsenicum (which is calming) for Milly and for the others wot are scared of fireworks, some Emerald and some other stuff I can't remember for my Auntie Barbara for her grief, and a large sized rescue remedy and it came to about £26 in total - complete bargain (and they work as well)! :flowers:

They're very good aren't they :flowers:

I got home from work to a totally silent house, no dogs at the door to greet me. Ran in frantic calling for them, Dex can open the back door if it's not locked but it was, so they hadn't shut themselves in the garden, pegged it upstairs and my bedroom door was nearly closed, burst in and there they were  Silly things could have opened the door I'm sure, it must have blown so it wasn't wide open as normal, but they didn't bark or make any noise at all when I came in, just waited to be rescued

RMF I have left my purse on my desk at work, I was intending to do an emergency shop tonight as I'm dangerously low on loo roll  and really fancied some cheese on toast. I have no cheese and can only scrape together about 17p plus a dodgy foreign coin. Guess it's just toast then

I think I have applied for every single job in South Shields, Sunderland and Newcastle. Its dire!

Cheryl, the biggest jobs paper up here is the Evening Chronicle on Thursdays. If you PM me your address I can send you this week's if you like :flowers: There is a web version too: Chronicle jobs

Thanks so much for the kind thoughts for my lovely mum, they are very much appreciated. I feel so much better having seen her for myself today. She's very independent but has so many health problems and lives in a caravan on her own so I am permanently on worry alert, particularly as I am a 3-hour drive away from her and my brother and sister are twice as far away. Anyway, she has had various tests and they think that rather than another stroke she might have just had a bad migraine because that can cause vision problems, a bit of falling about, and temporary paralysis apparently. Yesterday her blood pressure was sky high and they were going to give her some new tablets (to add to the millions she already takes) and then just discharge her  That was until my scary sister got on the phone and then a specialist saw my mum and said she was absolutely not going home until her blood pressure was down. I wonder how old people with no one to speak for them fare :(

It's freezing here tonight and I am cross-eyed with tiredness. I think I will get my snuggly PJs on and have an early night.

I am not very happy......son Darryl has just phoned me from my mums (he lives with her so he can go to college in Plymouth). He was very upset. His locker at college has been broken into and his chef knives have been taken   The police were called, but hadn't arrived by the time he left. Not worth claiming on insurance for due to excess, but best to have it reported just in case any crime is committed with his initialed knives.

Poop Angel, I hate any sort of theft. Were any other lockers broken into do you know?

It's a bit cold tonight, my house is so draughty I only tend to put the heating on in the morning so I can have a shower in near sub zero temperatures and then just wear lots of clothes at all other times as it just seems a waste, but the small furries room was very cold when I went up earlier so I've put the heating on for them

I ordered a book for my dad's birthday and went to pick it up at lunchtime and the shop said they hadn't received my order

Morning :tired: I took a 'Sweet Dreams' herbal tablet (from healthspan) last night and I think I slept better.

Good babies

I am in bed with a sore tum. Feel sick too. Think this is a pressie from my grandsons.

Hope you feel better soon :flowers:

RMF : I locked another one of my dogs out last night - this time it was Timmy and thankfully only briefly cos it was freezing cold and pizzing down. Poor ickle mite was soaked through so I wrapped him in my blanket and snuggled him warm again
