Our eldest daughter has got her results in today and we are celebrating her achievement of a 2.1 in textile craft design. Not bad for the kid that one teacher told her she should be alright working in the pick and mix department at Woolies. (We have told her it was a good job she stuck at this or she would have been made redundant by now LOL)

At sixteen she was told if she wanted to stay on for A levels she would need to do it over three years. She moved to a further education college where two weeks after her 18th birthday was diagnosed dyslexic and from then on her education blossomed. One year foundation course, entry to Huddersifield University , an Erasmus year in Finland, and now at present enjoying her end of year show and she is thrilled to bits.

We as a family never take the easy route in life but we have staying power and tonight we are so proud of her. She is known as our Little Phoneix, as she has risen from the ashes

CONGRATULATIONS EMILY
