Sam, what name does it go under in Waitrose - might pop along there later and pick a couple up to try - sometimes I just need something that's convenient.

Sorry for the infrequent updates :blush02: but for anyone interested I've now lost 5 stone exactly  still on Cambridge on week 22 this week and moved to 810 from last week as I wasn't taking in enough calories so the weight loss had stalled

Well done Annie you look absolutely fab :thumbsup_anim:

A question on behalf of my OH. :flowers: We often end up eating separately because of his hours, and although he never eats meat, he does eat a lot of fish. He doesn't like mushrooms, so mushroom stroganoff is a no-no, and he isn't a fan of soups either ( ). If he could control his day-time eating, he'd be fine, but he tends to eat far too much bread (sandwiches at lunchtime) - I'm wondering if he had a "proper" meal at lunchtime if he could last longer without snacking. When he is home for meals, he eats very healthily - apart from the constant bread-munching...not helped by his over-use of our breadmaker. That's the other problem with soup of course; I do make soups regularly, which he'll eat, but he wants several slices of bread too.

So, if I lock up the breadmaker, and provide microwaveable meals (we can arrange a microwave at his office), the novelty factor might be enough for it to work.

How many veggie options are there, apart from soup and mushroom dishes? I can't really see many, and I'd like him to try a few from Waitrose first.

ps I'm making my poor OH sound like an eejit. He isn't.

Well done to you all. :flowers:

I went and treated myself to a "Look What We Found" from Waitrose last night ............ which I'm saving for Friday night. I chose a "meaty" one, so I guess I'd better say no more on that subject.

There almost feels to be more than I should eat in there ...............

Scotslass, I wasn't particularly looking for vegetarian ones, but I think I only registered seeing the Mushroom Strogonoff one as a veggie option in Waitrose - but no doubt they vary in what they stock ..........

I was wondering Sam.

Do they suggest/allow/recommend you to eat other foods as well?

Just thinking fruit and veggies mainly (think I am a fruit, salad and vegaholic to be honest!)

And a drop of milk for my afternoon tea?

Can't see anything on their website, and suspect it is hidden into the instructions they send out with your food!

Thank you. :flowers:

It'd be fine for me, then - the non-veggie ones sound delicious. :) I'm just surprised they don't have a wider veggie option (apart from soup).

I know you were asking Sam about the vegetables/fruit, but I noticed on their FAQ that you can add "a little fresh fruit and vegetables to your diet each day. Included in the hamper are some suggestions"

I wonder how much is "a little"?
