Judith gsd
Can anyone explain how to use some Animal Lintex please? I have a chicken with Bumble Foot, and the vets have given me a piece for now to get her started. It is so long since I have used it on my horses! I can see one side is sort of "wooly" and the other is sort of stripey with the medicated bit I suppose. I know to put the plastic behind or on top of the dressing. Thanks. Judith gsd
http://www.hairycobrider.co.uk/animalintex...-3750-370-p.asp Thank you for that link, I also came across the same one after "Googling". Anyway she now has some on her foot, with some tape, an old sock, some more 3m tape and some plastic to keep it dry. She didn't like walking on it at first, but she seems to be getting used to it. I remember standing in cold dark fields trying to poultice my horse when he used to get his feet "pricked" with a grain of soil which caused him discomfort. At least we can bring her inside when the weather gets colder to attend to her foot.
