Laurel n Hardy
Does anyone know the name of that wonder honey thats great internally and externally My partner's parents have an elderly shelti that has a very rare liver complaint that results in mouth sores, she is on 2 injections a day and is diabetic. So what is it called and would it be ok to give she as she is diabetic Thanks
ReikiAnge
Manuka honey You can get various strengths and qualities I think. Not sure about the diabetic bit though, sorry.
Ciren
i think it depends on which form of diabeties it is. my husband has diatry controlled and can have sweet stuff but in moderation
Carole Stitcher
Can't help with whether it is ok for her to take, but if you find out she is, Morrisons stock the strength 10, so should be easy for you to get hold of it. Reasonably priced there too.
elefan
Hi. My dog is diabetic and I have to carry honey everywhere we go with her in case she has a hypo. I'm guessing giving honey under normal circumstances may send her blood glucose too high. HTH Cheers Penny
