ZEPTHEDEP ROTTWEILER RESCUE

Registered Charity No.1119487

We take in dogs from a variety of places including other rescues including the rspca ,d/t , pounds and private homes from all over the UK, we also rehome to all over the uk, distance is not an object for the right home, also we help other rescues out with, h/c , transporting dogs etc , helping thier homes with the neutering/spaying of thier dogs if possible etc . We also believe in the promotion of the breed hence our meet and greets where we take rescue dogs to meet the public . We also operate a scheme where by we look after rotts in emergencies for owners who may be in difficulties, some of which come to us through social services , the police etc , based on the scheme run by D/T but only on a very small scale. We are an independant rescue which is funded totaly on donations and fund raising with no affiliation to any accossiation , breed club , breeder or kennels .

Our Objectives

TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ANIMALS BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE CARE, PROTECTION, TREATMENT AND SECURITY FOR ROTTWEILERS WHICH ARE IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES OR ILL USAGE AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS RELATING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG ANIMALS.

RESCUE and RE-HOME or offer help to neglected and abandoned or unwanted ROTTWEILERS.

Get vetinary treatment for those who need it, assess each and every dog before it comes in to us. Assess each dog while it is with us, in the kennels and in the home environment where posible.

We aim to re-home the right Dog into the right home for that particular dogs needs. No dog is ever to be knowingly placed in a situation where it will be chained up, or used as a guard dog, or used in any way that could be detrimental to the breed. All dogs where possible will be neutered/spayed [with a vets approval], micro chipped, wormed and vaccinated prior to

re-homing.

Any dog that cannot meet the neutering policy will be re-homed on a spaying/neutering contract, that must be strictly adhered to.

No dog re-homed by ZRR can be sold, passed on or re-homed by anyone else for the life of that dog, without ZRR’S written consent. ZRR will do all that is humanly possible that should a re-homing not work out to take that dog back into its care, for the life of the dog.

Any monies raised by donations or fund raising, is for the care and WELFARE of all dogs ZRR has in its care at any one time. No dog is ever sold by ZRR, but a donation of £125 is asked for, but only on the completion of the adoption process. The rescue co-ordinator in certain circumstances depending on the dog and or situation, can waive or lower the donation required.

ZRR does not own kennels , but rent a series of boarding kennels .

All kennels we use must meet high standards and be licensed.

WE ARE A NON PROFIT MAKING RESCUE, ZRR IS RUN SOLELY BY VOLUNTEERS AND SELF FUNDED. ANY MONEY RAISED/DONATED IS SPENT ENTIRELY ON THE DOGS IN OUR CARE, ON VETS FEES, KENNEL FEES Etc.
