Ingredients:

500g liver (any type will do) or 2 tins of tuna

500g flour (again, any type will do)

250g margarine

2 eggs

3 garlic cloves

water (enough to make the consistency that of a typical cake mixture)

Method if using liver:

1. Zap the liver in the microwave for a few minutes before doing anything else to make it a bit more manageable

2. Blend the liver in a food processor

3. Add all other ingredients and mix

4. Put the mixture into a greased and lined roasting tin or deep cake tin (the deep cake tin will take longer to cook) and cook in a hot oven until pinkness is gone

5. Wait until cake is cool, then turn out onto a cooling tray and cut into required pieces

Method if using tuna:

1. Chuck everything into a mixing bowl and mix it

2. Put the mixture into a greased and lined roasting tin or deep cake tin (the deep cake tin will take longer to cook) and cook in a hot oven until golden brown on top

3. Wait until cake is cool, then turn out onto a cooling tray and cut into required pieces

Any surplus can be frozen or the quantities can be reduced
