BillyMalc Posted August 22, 2007 Report Share Posted August 22, 2007 Mal will be having his op on Friday, to have a large chunk of his lip removed - because of cancer of some sort. 2 Weeks ago he's had a dental, so he's having a GA twice in 2 weeks and obviously this surgery will be quite invasive. Is there anything (homeopathic or otherwise) you peeps could recommend I give him beforehand, i.e. the night before? He won't be allowed anything but water after 8:30PM. Any ideas much appreciated! Muriel Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 Yep, Homeopathic Arnica 30c, one tablet 3 times daily starting now and for a few days after - will help healing etc. Milk Thistle helps clear toxins from liver and repair damage. Bach Crab Aple helps clear toxins, can be rubbed in to body. An op like that, I'd also use either Rescue Remedy or Star of Bethlehem for the shok, again can be rubbed in - top of head between ears is a great spot, I found Cassie freaked if I tried to do it straight from bottle, so I would put a few drops on my palm and then to her head.
