Rox
This is Paul from Wiccaweys. King Henry has left us to go over the Rainbow Bridge. Earlier this evening, his breathing became very laboured, and his lungs were filling with fluid. We rushed over to the vet, but sadly there was nothing that could be done for Henry. We had to let him go. The vet thought that he'd probably had a blood vessel burst and it was filling his lungs with fluid. He'd been getting more and more unsteady on his feet for the last few weeks and losing weight, but we didn't expect to lose him so suddenly. Higs was a very lucky boy who travelled to us from Ireland about a year ago. I say lucky because he was rescued and sent over from the pound by accident! He was supposed to be a red and white collie, but the kennel staff got mixed up and sent us this old Bassett X Spanielly thing! We knew he'd be one of our old timers in the retirement home, and he's been a great pal for Grandad Bryn. Stomp off over the bridge Hig Pig...we love you. :'(

Rox
Here are some pictures that really show Henry's personality. These pictures really encapsulate his cheeky nature. Hope they make you smile, they always make us laugh out loud. All of our dogs end up with several nicknames. Henry ended up with "Henry H Higgins III", "'Iggins", "Triple H" and the weirdest, but meant with love, "Hig Pig'. Thanks for the fun you brought into our lives 'Hig Pig'.
