snow
A few people have asked how to use The Refuge Gallery - this should walk you through how to upload to your gallery. Go to your control panel and you will see on the left side the heading Invision Gallery, click on "Your Albums" If you haven't already created an album, click on the link and create one: The screen will then look like this, choose "upload" from the drop down panel You must name the picture and there must be something in the text box even if it is only a smiley. Scroll down and click on "browse" this will open a window that will allow you to browse to the picture on your pc, select the picture you want to upload, and click "open" the address of the picture will then appear in the box, simply click "post image" to upload it to your gallery. To see the uploaded picture select "view" from the drop down menu.
snow
To post that picture in a thread go to your gallery and click on the thumbnail of the picture you want to link to so that the larger version opens Once the bigger pic opens use the right button of your mouse to click on the picture that will bring up another menu Click with the left button on the word properties. This will pop up another box. Highlight the Address (URL) in full, sometimes you may have to drag the highlight down a bit to make sure you get the full address. Once it's highlighted, click with the right mouse button once more to pop up the box and click with the left on the word COPY. The computer will remember that information, so now you can open a thread to post the image in. When you click on the little tree icon another window pops up it will already have the words http:// in it, DELETE those so that the box is empty. Put the pointer of the mouse in the box and once more right mouse click. Click on PASTE and the address for your picture will be pasted into the box. Finally click on OK and the whole lot will be added to the reply box with the correct code for the pictures to show in the thread. Hope that helps.
