    Lost

I'm sorry to hear Annie has got lost. Hopefully she will be back with you soon, enjoying all the fuss and cuddles (I'm sure she wouldn't want to leave Jack for too long)
  2. I will be doing my 1st degree in July, and hopefully 2nd and masters after that (if I can get the money together). I am going to reiki evolution Reiki Evolution. They have teachers all over the UK, which I think is good because all the others were miles away from me. Hope thats helpful.
  3. I do all mine (if and when they need doing), doesn't really bother me . The best place to do it is when you are bathing your dog, so if any does get on the dogs coat it can be washed off. I have an alternative medicine book for animals. They say to use Silicia (sp?), which I bought from the nelson range. It really seems to work for Breeze.
  4. Congratulations . Very well done to the doglets
  5. Quizz would like to introduce himself and let you know how he is getting on. This is my own bed, its lovely and soft (this comfort stuff is wonderful) Have been playing in the garden, trying to sort out a huge raggy thing. Its ok, it surrendered eventually. My new mummy was trying to take pics of me, but I saw her crouched down and saw my chance for ambush. Woohoo, another toy to play with. Mummy says I'm a happy chappie and I'm always smiling, haven't got a clue what she means. Mummy was pleased with this one, because I supposably don't stand still long enough to take a descent pic. Anyway, my big sisters are great. Twiglett and Taiya are fab cause they play with me. I'm off to something called agility tonight and hopefully I will see my brother, I think mummy is going to take her camera, so then you can see my bro too. Signing off to have a quick nap before we go out. Its very nice to meet you Quizz
  6. I live near Wincanton, and the show was in Wincanton. Am going to take some more pics today so hopefully can share them with you later
  7. Definately for keeps The other great thing is that a friend of mine who trains with me, has also homed one of Quizz's brothers, so they can meet up at training for a play.
  8. Yesterday was a fun agility show for people I know and train with me. The weather was lovely (though probably a bit on the warm side). I think everybody enjoyed themselves and it was very relaxed. Anyway, during the lunch break we had an invasion of the furry kind who had just arrived after coming across on the ferry from Ireland. 4 male collie pups had a run around the field, and they were so friendly with everyone and the dogs. Well to cut a long story, short........................................................................................... Twiglett has a new pal to play with. Please meet Quizz
  9. Although Animal Friends is underwriten by E & L, they have no say so in what is paid out. Animal Friends make the decisions and they pay promptly (you actually get a faster and better service than you do if you were with E & L, which makes no sense ). I will be changing the girls back to them when they come up for renewal (went to M & S, but they raise permiums so much after a year ). Hope that is helpful (I used to work for them, so I know they treat their customers well).

    Twiggy

I am very sorry for your loss. You did everything you possibly could and made the last of her life a very happy and loved one. Run free sweet Twiggy
  11. GT show aswell Dizzy Dog won the Senior Gamblers, and came 4th in RC Senior Agility. Unfortunately I sent her over the wrong jump in Steelechase (whoops ). Gem came 2nd in Senior Steeplechase. Overall the girlies working wonderfully and mummy is very pleased
  12. The first thought is 'well that will teach you to nick the sausages', if only dogs thought this way. Norty Charliegoo, hope you feel better soon, and leave the sausages well alone in the future.
  13. My vote is definately Dooley (maybe my alcoholic side is kicking in ha ha), especially as it means dark hero. I can't stand human names, so Dave is horrible (sorry ). But he's lovely what ever he is called.
  14. I use Pet Dispensary which I've found cheapest so far, and their delivery time is great. Pet Dispensary
  15. What a good boy Jay. I think you will be having a good year. Hope it doesn't get too hot though. Not that the dogs mind, but I do
  16. EASY LIVER CAKE 1lb Liver 1lb Granary Flour 3 Eggs 2 Cloves of Garlic or 1tsp Garlic Powder 2 tbsp Oil Milk Liquidise Liver, Eggs, Garlic, Oil with Milk and then mix into Flour to make a cake consistency. Put into a dish and microwave on full power for 10-12 minutes. Cut into slices or bite size cubes and freeze. Take out as a special treat for training and give to your dog as a reward. I just use normal flour. Microwave time depends how deep the dish is, I usually do it in 2 bits.
  17. Had a little go - it annoyed me. Went back for a little more - kinda got in the swing of things. Managed to get to 41 which I skipped, but now can't do 42. Someone help please, would like to know answers or hints to 41 and 42 (though I expect I'll be asking about 43 after that
  18. Oh, I'll be first as I was so pleased with my girlies. Went to Scrambles UKA show on Saturday. Both Gem and Dizzy went clear in their first classes at their first show of the year. As Dizzy only did a handful of shows last year due to injuries and seemingly being very flat (not like her at all), I wasn't hoping for much. But......... she was like a bullet and listened the whole time . She ended up with 4th in Senior Jumping, 3rd in Senior Gamblers and 2nd in Senior Steeplechase, I am still grinning like a cheshire cat. Gem also came 4th in Novice Jumping. Her Senior Steeplechase was excellent - just a pole down, but never mind she enjoyed herself. for the girlies
  19. I'm there on Saturday aswell (please don't rain)
  20. I am recording it, so we'll see what its all about
  21. Thanks Tempest, thats great . Have written it all down and will be off to get the Hypericum & Aconite ASAP
  22. Taiya is being spayed next Monday, and having her hind dew claws removed. I have read somewhere that Arnica can be given before the op and afterwards to help with bruising etc. Does anyone know how much I should be giving her and for how long (before and after). She is a Sprollie and weighs roughly 18kg. Thank you for any info.
  23. We tried Clomicalm as a last solution to help our collie in the car. Can't say that there was much improvement, so we stopped it. But then again, different dog, different situation blah blah etc etc . Glad to see you back. If Ty is happy going for walkies with George then thats great.
  24. Thanks madmerle. Haven't heard of Costco, so I assume that we don't have them around here . Any other suggestions would be great. We tried Autarky on Billy (the jack x whippet we had a while ago) and it made no difference. But all dogs are different, so we will definately consider it for the Mastiff.
