  3. Well what can be said about this poor lad he has now been in rescue a whole year waiting for the right home to come along. He is a fab lad who at 14mths old really really really deserves a family of his own.Although he has been in foster with lots of other dogs he is looking for a new home where perhaps he would have a smaller dog to play with and be his companion or be an only dog.He is good in the car,on & off lead Is crate & house trained. All we ask is that new owners do listen to the advice we give them and take it slowly setteling him and introducing him to his new life.He does like to take things slowly He has been with me in foster all this time and I can't fault him but then I do know all his little funny ways & thoughts, especially those of thinking he is a lap dog Watch his story here http://www.onetruemedia.com/shared?p=d7da8c55e70a2cafbd86a4&skin_id=701&utm_source=otm&utm_medium=text_url Homing Info Buggly needs an experienced home children 14+ and a secure garden.New owners must not be out at work all day and be prepared to take things gently & slowly with him whilst he settles into his new life. You must be prepared to attend training class with him to help you all bond.We are willing to step out of our normal homing area to find him a sepcial home but must be within reasonable travel time for follow up visits .200 miles of Dover Kent ??

  6. My name is Bella I am a 2/3 yr old lab/retriever x. I have not had a good start to life and a rather long story to tell. I was dumped by my owners when young and ended up in not very good rescue where I was found to be pregnant, they kept me there and tried to make me be a good mummy but I was only a baby myself and didn't really want to know so they decided to home me as quickly as they could. I was homed un spayed to a lady who took me to live outside in her shed with her other dog .It wasn't very nice in there and at times very cold and wet. I shared the shed with another male dog who wasn't done and made me have babies again. They were not with me long before they were sold and I was pregnant again this time the lady said she was not keeping me or him any more as was fed up with us so was going to take us to the vets to be PTS but luckily for us all we were taken in by a nice lady and since Xmas my babies and I have been under the care of Futures for Dogs. I have not been able to feed my new babies as well as I should have as we have all been poorley so my foster mum has been feeding them for me. I don't mind at all and just watch her through the baby gates with the other dogs. She has promised me I will never have to go through all this again. My foster mum says I am beautiful especially now I have had a bath and been groomed etc and I am very clever .I have learnt to live indoors and am being crate trained I have had a couple of accidents but my foster mum says that it doesn't matter and has not shouted at me once for it. I have met the cat here who is really nice to me and purrs when she sees me. I am also in foster with 2 other dogs & a young puppy and they are really nice to me and I quiet like them all though they do bounce around a lot at times. They have been showing me how to play with things called toys and I quiet like the thing called a squeaky ball.I have also been on a couple of short walks with them and foster mum says I am sooooo good on the lead and she has even let me off in the field as well .I don't go very far as I do like to stay near her and make sure she is not going to leave me there alone. The boys however run along way off but when she calls them back we all get a yummy treat. I like this being part of a family and living in a home even though it is only temp and hope that one day soon I will have my own forever family. Zippy

It is with great sadness that I have to write this post and has taken quiet a few attempts to do so.Sadly Zippy has been laid to rest and my heart goes out to the Chandler family as I know how much he was loved and how much he will be missed.Sadly he had been ill for a couple of months and there was nothing more that could be done.He was loved and cherished so much by his family. This special lad amazed us all when he came into my care.He will always have a very sepcial corner of my heart. He was an inspiration to many and brought many rescues together, strangers from all over the country and infact a few from abroad with his fund raising appeal. This courageous loving lad went through so much abuse and neglect in his first short months of life and yet still remained so fun loving and full of life. His legacy will live on in our Zippy & Friends Appeal which has helped so many other sick & abused cases that have come in to our care over the years. For those of you who did not know him please watch his story. 19. Ok not posted for a while but am go to show offf with this post and just say how proud I am of our dogs. Some of you on our site/ face book may have seen that we were recently invited up by Dogs Today Magazine for a photo shoot.Debs ( pheobes mum) kindly voluntered to take me and all the mutts up to London for the day (not sure she knew what she was letting herself in for ) So Muzi,Buggly & the pups all piled into her car and off we trotted for a fab day out so fab infact that we now have a big spread about us in next months issue. But to top it all we found last week that for the first time ever we have made history with DOGS TODAY as they will have 2 issues out on Dec 9th because our pics were also chosen to be on front cover but they couldn't decide which one to use(Buggly or the pups)so they will be splashed across 2 copies Muzi & Buggly were super stars and have to say even the pups although nervous didn't let me down and have an accident anywhere .I was so happy that Muzi( being my own dog and not needing a home ) was alowed to attend and with him being so ill I was so very proud to be able to take him with us ,he was,as usual a star all day. Beverly Cuddy ( mag Editor) had a lot of fun trying to stop the pups from just sitting on her lap for a cuddle lol I would like to say a BIG THANKS to Bev for inviting us up there. Deb showing off our new FFD TAKE THE LEAD HOME A RESCUE Tshirts with our " SAY NO TO PUPPYFARMS,BACKSTREET BREEDERS & PETSHOP PUPS" slogan on them..Have some left for sale if anyone would like one ?? £8.00each 100% cotten they are fab. 22. Please meet Missie a very pretty 3yr old Blue Staffie .Sadly this little girl is looking for a new home because her owner decided to go live live abroad and left her with housemates who work fulltime and do not have the time to give her the commitment she needs.I have met her and she is a friendly girl who loves a cuddle.I have to state that the following information is only what her part time owners have told us and we can not be held liable for the information provided. 23. Feel free to its only something I drafted up for our owners and forum.
  24. That would include little ole me then but didn't in anyway mean to imply it was an awful place.I did post a cold care thread for your pets though Have no suggestions as to how to boost the site or would be doing it with ours we have been plodding along for years with just a handfull here and there so if could make ours more popular I would gladly offer some suggestions.
