  1. That sounds fine. Only thing is, I would suggest that you check the dose. I think 57mg are the pills for the smaller dogs. Your rotts might be on the larger dosage pills, in which case these 57mg won't go far ... But if you still want them, and I've got no other takers with smaller oldies needing them, then please send me your address. you can email me privately at [email protected] as I check that more frequently than I come to the Refuge. As for donation, please send that straight to the Oldies Club. Thanks. -Joy
  2. Hi OC, I have 2 boxes of Previcox, 57mg tablets, left now that Molly is gone. Total 55 tablets. Anyone have an oldie on Previcox? I am happy to post. -Joy
  3. Hi again I have the following items to give to the Oldies Club; a few are in very good (near new) condition and can be sold for fundraising. Hope you can distribute to needy foster homes. Molly was a small-ish border collie so the beds fit her or larger. 1. medium sized doughnut bed (used, in good condition) 2. baby cot mattress (used as orthopaedic cushion for oldie) 3. large red cushion (new, from the US) 4. Frolic ball in box 5. PetStep dog ramp (used) 6. Previcox 57mg tablets, 2 boxes of 30 tablets each 7. half bottle of Synoquin (glucosamine) 8. other various items: Kong, ball, clicker, cushions 9. 2 x orthopaedic bed with cover 10. some dog food and treats I live in south London, Clapham N area, and I don't have a car. Not sure where is Oldies Club HQ, or where most fosterers and events tend to be .... Can anyone help? All the dog beds can easily fill up the backseat of a car. Thanks! -Joy
  4. Dear Oldies Club I haven't posted much, busy with work and what time there was left belonged 40% to hubby and 60% to Molly (her original Oldies page is at Molly moo). Some of you may remember me when I was more active on DogPages and when I was working at The Mayhew ... it all seems so long ago. I adopted Molly in Sept05. She wasn't an easy dog to take care of, but it made her extra special and she was very much loved by me and my husband. Molly went peacefully to the Bridge on 23rd September, exactly three weeks ago. Her health declined rapidly in the end and she let me know when she was ready to stop fighting. The vet who came to put her to sleep (she was at home until the end) was so touched by Molly's story, she promised to spread word about Oldies Club to her clients, many of whom are elderly people looking for middle-aged 4-legged companions. I just want to say Thank You to the Oldies Club for doing the amazing work you do. When we're ready, this is where we will come for our next adoption. Thank you. Joy and Molly
  5. Don't worry. I had my oldie spayed at the ripe ol' age of 13 and she was fine. IS FINE! -Joy
