  1. Don't think I would be deleted but thought I'd better post just in case
  2. lol, the problem with Charlie is that it always makes me and OH think about that you tube clip "Charlie bit my finger". Since someone posted it on here it's become a little bit of a joke between me and OH. Although Charlie Bean does sound pretty cool lol x
  3. It's a minefield trying to think of baby names I'm 20 weeks and having a girl, but me and OH just can't agree on any names. I love Hermione but he thinks it's a daft name and can't stand it. I'd like to find something a little unusual and that goes with my OH surname which is Bean So far the only name we both like is Ariana but no matter how stuck we get I will NOT be resorting to making a name up or calling my child Charlie Trumpet Trousers Bean!
  4. When i worked in a supermarket about 10 years ago I announced over the tannoy at 4pm on Christmas Eve that we had a range of half price truckey beasts to a shop full of customers

    Big Snake Shock

That's right Yena, it has a respiratory infection and mouthrot which can apparently be fatal in snakes so I hope the poor thing pulls through. It's madness that someone would dump a snake of that size (well it's madness dumping any animal).

    Big Snake Shock

I've seen this on a reptile forum I go on, poor snake is in a right mess, but is now being treated by the vet and being looked after by a reptile rescuer.
  7. I only open my OHs post if he asks me to and I know he's the same. I would feel terrible just opening it without him asking, I don't really like doing it even when he does ask!
  8. The plant mum has isn't a venus flytrap, she can't remember what it's called either . But it has long tube like "leaves" that suck the bugs in and eats them ooh, you could have a conservatory full of flesh eating plants
  9. My mum went and bought a carnivorous plant that helps keep the number of dead bugs down, will ask her what it's called for you Claz.
  10. I don't want to look like an overgrown ppmpah loompah
  11. I got scared of using the Johnsons stuff that I bought cos people said bad things about it and I don't want to be orange or streaky
  12. I do think that 24 weeks seems late on to have an abortion, however as wickychoo has said if you look at the statistics of the people who are having abortions so late I can't see that you could lower that limit. But that doesn't mean I'm comfortable with it. I have had an abortion, I was 18 and an idiot. I didn't use protection as I should have done and it was entirely my own fault that I fell pregnant. I could never have looked ater a child properly and as someone has mentioned there seems to be a much bigger stigma to having a baby and giving it up for adoption than having an abortion. I don't regret that decision however it makes me feel sad (especially at this time of year as my baby would have been due at the end of may). I'm definitely pro choice. I can understand the views of pro life supporters but I just don't feel that way. My own experience was a very nasty wake up call and I feel for anyone who makes the decision to go through it.
  13. My mum and dads little brindle lurcher has only ever been mistaken for a zebra, which both me and the child in questions mum thought hilarious!!!
