Jasper Age: 7.5 Sex: Male Location: East Devon Can be Re-homed With Children: Maybe Teenagers Can be Re-homed with Dogs: Yes can be Re-homed with Cats: Unknown Neutered: Yes Vaccinated: Yes Microchipped: Yes Tail: Long Jasper is a very handsome and much loved springer. He is looking for a home where he will get lots of exercise and even more importantly a lot of mental stimulation. Jasper's new home must have a totally secure garden which he could not escape from. In the past he has managed to get out of the garden and that's where all his problems have started. He has a very boisterous temperament and when he escaped he charged up to children passing by and frightened them. Jasper has also shown a certain amount of resource guarding around a bone. When approached by a child whilst he was feeding on the bone he nipped the child. These issues would be fairly easy to resolve by not letting Jasper get into a situation where he felt the need to guard food or territory. In the house Jasper is extremely affectionate and loves fuss and attention. He would make a wonderful companion for someone with experience and patience to help him overcome his issues. Ideally he would be suited to a home with older children. He has grown up with two girls who are now teenagers and who adore him. Timmy has been rehomed!!

Darlings, I hate to bump.... but we are really still in need of a home for Timmy..... so unashamedly I am going to push him up there for you all to see! I am in Bristol and happy to do a home check or transport. Happy New Year all. Kate x

Yes Neutered: Yes Vaccinated: Yes Microchipped: Yes Tail: 3/4 Tail Merlin is a very sweet natured and affectionate dog that would like nothing better than to cuddle up on the sofa with you and to go on lots of long walks. His owners are reluctantly rehoming due to a change in circumstances. Merlin does not like some other dogs on walks, but this is since being attacked while on a walk which resulted in a wound on his side that needed surgery so is currently muzzled when on walks unless no other dogs are around but we feel that this can be worked on. Merlin would prefer to live with someone who is home most of the day, who loves to go for long walks and is happy for him to cuddle up on the sofa with them. Timmy Age: 11 Years Sex: Male Location: Bristol Can be Re-homed With Children? Yes - Older, sensible Children Can be Re-homed with Dogs? Yes Can be Re-homed with Cats? No - he chases them Neutered? Yes Vaccinated? Yes Microchipped? Yes Tail: Half Dock Timmy is (possibly) a springer cross currently living in Bristol and needing a new home. He is predominantly liver coloured but has some brown and white fur, almost tri-coloured. Although he is about 11 years old, he is fit and lively and has a placid, gentle temperament. He responds well to simple commands and is good on a lead. His coat is soft and his teeth are good. He has been well cared for. Unfortunately his owner has recently moved to sheltered accommodation and is unable to keep him there. He is presently living with the owner's daughter, who has a rescued Siamese cat. Timmy unfortunately wants to play with the cat and chases it. In my opinion, Timmy has still many years of healthy life ahead. He needs a home where there are no cats or young children. He will settle down quickly and will get on with other dogs. We really want Timmy to get his new home before Christmas if possible! He deserves to be somewhere warm and cosy as quickly as possible so he can start to settle again. Barney (B&W) & Skye (L&W) Age: 6 (Brother and Sister) Sex: Barney Male - Skye Female Location: South Devon Can be Re-homed with Dogs? No Vaccinated: Yes Microchipped: Yes Neutered: Yes Tail: 1/2 dock Skye and Barney are very unfortunately looking for a home together, this is something that their owners are very sad about as they are much loved dogs and family members. Skye and Barney are both cuddle monsters of the most lovable kind, both as soft as they come, unfortunately Barney especially has taken a strong dislike to the family's latest member which has recently started running around and every time the two year old toddler comes anywhere near him he warns her off with a very loud growl, nothing has ever gone any further than this and the owners in there desperation to find a cure did seek the help of a behaviourist who explained that Barney is very stressed around the young child, they have the safety guards of stair gates etc and very vigilant but the icing on the cake was when Skye also growled, this may have been because the toddler caught her unawares or it may have been that she is picking up on the stress of her litter mate but either way understandably it means that Skye and Barney must find a new home without the stresses of young children. Both dogs greeted us calmly and warmly at the assessment and sat either side of our assessors legs asking for fusses and tummy tickles, they are both adorable dogs and so well behaved you wouldn't know you had adopted two dogs apart from there difference in colour. They have even been trained not to go upstairs without the use of a stair guard, they wait patiently at the foot of the stairs unless invited up. They can pull on a lead and head collars would be advised and the owners assure us that they are very good and well behaved off lead with recall to. Barney can be a little bit vocal when some dogs approach especially if he is sat having a cuddle with his owners, sometimes even with Skye, this is easily sorted by putting him on the floor with a firm no command and teaching him that it is unacceptable behaviour, just like with a naughty toddler. Barney and Skye's current owners would love for us to find them a home where they can stay together because Skye adores Barney and looks to him for reassurance, we feel this would be the best possible outcome for the both of them, they don't want for the dogs to have to spend there lives behind a stair gate separated from the people they love and who love them back so have asked us to find them a new home where they can stay together and be loved and adored as they always have been.
