  1. Contact/organisation details: PM me ;) Location: Norfolk or London or Cambridge, however I can travel further afield for travel costs. Species: Rats Number of animals: 2 Sex: Female Age(s): Unsure. Probably both around a year old? Name(s): Lily and Violet Colours: One is an agouti hooded dumbo and one is an agouti capped top ear. Neutered: No Reason for rehoming: These girls came to me a few weeks ago after their owner said that if they didn't find a new home by that evening, he was going to drown them or release them. They came here, have been treated for RI, mites, fed up as they were painfully thin and tamed as they were extremely hand shy. Both are now very friendly little things. I would keep them but at the moment they do not get enough attention. Temperament: Very friendly. So long as you don't startle them then they are absolutely fine. Medical problems: Had mites and RI when they came to me, all fine and cleared up now though may develop RI again in the future. Will the group be split: No Transport available: I can possibly deliver for a small fee or a rat train can be organised. Other: These girls are to be PETS ONLY. No breeding or food. All new owners will be subject to a questionnaire. I will match them to an owner and no rehome them on a first come first served basis. A small adoption fee for each rat will be required.
  2. Just to let anyone who may have been interested know, this girl had a series of fits overnight and died in the early hours of this morning.
  3. Contact/organisation details: Four Paws Rescue + Rattery Location: Norwich Species: Rat Number of groups: 1 (repeat the following for each group) Group: 1 Number of animals: 1 Sex: Female Age(s): 8 months? Name(s): No name as of yet Colours: Blue capped Neutered: No Does this animal have rescue backup?: Yes Reason for rehoming: She came into the rescue the other day after her owner couldn't be bothered with her anymore. I have tried to introduce her to my group of girls, however she will fly at them and attack them so she is currently housed on her own. Due to a lack of handling in her last home, she is a VERY bitey rat. I would keep her and tame her up a bit but at the moment I have so many rats to look after I cannot give her the individual time she needs to tame her up. Temperament: Bitey. Will need an experienced owner. Medical problems: None seem as of yet. Will the group be split: N/A Transport available: No Other: She will need an experienced owner and home, with lots of time and patience to make her tame and preferably with other females or neutered males to integrate her with eventually. She must NOT be bred from for any reason. All homes WILL be subject to a homing questionnaire and will be vetted very thoroughly. Please get in touch with me via PM if you would like anymore info! I will try and get some pictures of her tonight.
