  1. He is gorgeous! I'll have to put some feelers out and see if anyone is interested in this handsome chap, if I was moved into the house already i'd offer in a heartbeat <3
  2. Was feeling a bit pet sick so decided to make a photo post, no longer live with the lovelies but I still adore them. Even though you're not supposed to have favourites I do, little Emily is definately my girl, I love her
  3. Oh no, how awful! Some people don't really think though, more's the pity! If I didn't have two young lads already i'd be biting at the bit to offer a home for the young bucks, not sure how Toby and Zack would like sharing their lives with some more boys, they're quite used to being far too pampered and having a shoulder each Hope they find a wonderful home soon, they are gorgeous
  4. Oh bless her, she looks a darling chook!
  5. They are beautiful, they'll soon become brilliant old ladies once they find their feet. Peggy looks like my old dog shape wise
  6. Thanks for the warm welcomes =] @EGAR: I've always thought rescue animals were a bit like butterflies, each one having the potential to be a unique gem if someone would only take the time to look a little closer. Hence the name x]
  7. Beautiful pics with fantastic views, they both look so happy, they're positively beaming!
  8. Well ... partly, I live in Cumbria for the majority of the year than head down to the West Midlands every so often to visit the family, furred, scaled, feathered and human. I've grown up with rescue animals, or rather "second hand pets" as we'd often get the animals friends, family and associates had grown bored of/circumstances changed. It's only since i've semi-moved to Cumbria that i've experienced my first serious lacking of animalness, once settled in the new house that'll hopefully be rectified. As such i'm really just lurking the forums and, as soon as I get my card issues sorted, hopefully will be able to donate =] Eventually i'd love to foster, with particular emphasis on the large "black beauties" [or any large beauty really XD], but as the friends i'm sharing the house are far keener on the prospect of a small dog and/or cat i'm not sure whether that will be possible until i'm able to claim a little place for myself XD And now i'm rambling about nothing! There are one or two dogs on here that have made my heart ache, it's just a shame my situation currently doesn't lend itself to offering even a temporary home for them
