rehomed to a lovely new home

Jamie has not been with us very long but we are going to be looking for a new home for him in the near future. He came to us after his owners sadly passed away and his family were unable to cope with him. He will be looking for a special home with an experienced dog person who will continue to help him through the problems he has, Firstly - he likes to get his own way and likes to use his teeth - well he would if he had any but he does mean it! He hates to be brushed and at present it shows, he is matted from his ribs backwards, this will be sorted this week when he gets neutered as they are clipping him aswell (yes he is that badly matted) he doesn't like his lead putting on and again will use his non existent teeth so the previous owners left the lead on all the time. on the plus side, he does like his head stroked (most of the time) and i think there is a really nice boy under there with the right home Neutered; will be Microchipped; will be on leaving vaccinated; yes Dogs; good - but pref to be on hyis own initially or with one other steady dog Cats; Possibly Small animals; unknown Kids; no Can be left; short periods Houseclean; mostly Health issues; a little overweight papillon rescue co-ordinator

Cyber age 12 and Mia age 10 are looking for a new home together through no fault of their own, their owner sadly passed away and the family were unable to care for them due to work commitments Neutered; Unknown Microchipped; will be on leaving vaccinated; yes Dogs; good (but Mia likes to talk to everything ) Cats; Possibly Small animals; yes Kids; visitng kids over 8 Can be left; short periods Houseclean; mostly Health issues; Cyber has a heart murmber but is not currently on meds - vets advice is to loose weight Two lovely girls with very differant characters Cyber is the quieter one of the two - possibly because she is quite overweght (we are working on this) she will need an owner who is able to resist her beautiful eyes that plead she's never been fed and is able to give her gentle exercise until she's fit again, She loves a back scrach more than anything. Mia likes to talk she will talk to anyone and anything, she loves to stand in front of you with a little woo woo woo to get your attention, she is also the alarmist in the family we certainly know when anyone passes the house (she will be quiet quite quickly when told to though) so potential new owners need to be able to cope with a talker THESE GIRLS WILL ONLY BE REHOMED TOGETHER Please note this dog is not suitable if you've already been in touch with papillon rescue in the past 12 months as each dog is matched carefully to it's new owners papillon rescue co0ordinator

Hi thanks, have done most of those, except for doglost (it should go on shortly via a friend - except for the picture) have given out over 300 posters including outside pets at home today and dog training classes in the area, posters are up on as many posts as we can, most if not all of the vets had been contacted yesterday, the rest will be today, dog wardens, rspca centre etc have all been called and over 200 doors in the immediate area have been knocked on poor girl is frantic thanks Deb

Jack has now been rehomed

Jack is a 4 1/2 month old border collie pup who is looking for a new home. He came into rescue as his previous owners were unable to cope with him due to family circumstances. He is a lovely boy with lots of potential. He is vaccinated, will be microchipped and will go with a contract stating he must be neutered at the appropriate time, he will have rescue backup for the rest of his life. He has no issues (well unless you count barking at the rear windscreen wiper ) is mostly house trained once shown where the appropriate place is, he is good with other dogs, he hasn't been cat tested but this can be arranged if necessary but i can't forsee a problem as he is only young. No kids under 8ish please as he is only young and will need plenty of input to get him to his full potential. A homecheck will be carried out and a set donation is required. He is being fostered in Preston at the minute, his foster carer will post piccies asap. Deb NW small dog rescue Papillon rescue

Maisie is a larger pom (just bigger than a papillon) who came to me a couple of months ago from another rescue when they realised that she had a few problems that needed working on before she could find her forever home. We have worked on these and she is now ready for her new home. She is 18 months old, spayed, vaccinated and chipped. She is good with dogs when out and about (and my own at home) but feel that she would benefit from being an only dog or possibly with one larger laid back dog. Although she is good with kids i will rehome with kids only over the age of 15 please as young children have contributed to her behaviour in the past. Cats - well it will depend on the cat - she's ok with mine but feel she might chase if the cat isn't dog savvy . I'm looking for an active home for her, she would be ideal for agility or someone who loves long regular walks, she can manage 6-8 miles when out with the dog walker. I have 10 young male degus looking for new homes approx 16 weeks old (except for dad who is about 10 months old) they were taken in as rescue a few weeks ago but were too young and scared to be re-homed, please do some research on their care on degutopia.co.uk before deciding if these little creatures are the pet for you. They will still need a lot of work to be really tame but will make great pets. I will only re-home in twos or preferably three's as they are sociable little animals who don't do well on their own. I will also have in a few weeks time two females (approx 10 months old) who are mums to all of the pups and another 4 babies (sexes not known yet) Deb
