  1. Hello Carrie, lovely to see pics of the lovely Dory and scrummy Ben
  2. So sorry to hear about mason
  3. Thank you all for your replies. Muriel, reiki is always wanted and gratefully received The vets did say last week that the drug they gave her (methotrexate) carries more of a risk of sickness and diarrhoea. She is not responding to the treatment as well as they would like her to. She only has partial remission, so they adjust her medication to how she is doing. She goes to the vet school on the Wirral for her chemotherapy, but I took her to our own vet on Saturday and she had an anti-emetic injection and I went back on Sunday and got some more of the same drug but in tablet form. She is perking up a bit now, but still only eating little bits. We are back at the vet school tomorrow for her next appointment, so I will let them know how bad she has been and hopefully we can plan a way forward from here. Thank you all again Mandy x
  4. My dog Sasha is having chemotherapy for lymphoma. After the drugs she was given last week she was really poorly with vomiting and nausea and didnt eat from thursday morning til yesterday evening. Even now she can only take little bits of food. Is there any homeopathic remedies that will help reduce any side effects of nausea and vomiting? I would be really grateful for any advice you could give me. Thank you. Mandy xx
  5. Could I please trouble you for some more Reiki for Sasha? She has lymphoma, she couldn't have her second dose of chemo last wednesday as her white blood count was too low. She has been given anti-biotics and is having it on monday instead. Her lymph nodes have reduced in size and I am sure the reiki she was given has helped. Sorry for rambling. Thank you Mandy x
  6. What do any of you experienced people think about this? http://www.dogcancer.co.uk/ I would be grateful for any input i.e. suggestions/advice about diet, supplements etc
  7. Thank you so much everybody. Thanks jane for putting Sashas pic on. There is soooo much stuff to try and read its a bit mind boggling. I just need to try and find out as much as possible so that I can do my best for her. I really appreciate the reiki for her. The vet did seem full of doom and gloom when I spoke to her on the phone, but I'm not going to let my girl go without a fight and giving her every chance possible. I can't believe the supplements that are out there. Some of them sound like a miracle cure, but surely if that were the case then everybody would be using it?
  8. I am in a bit of a daze at the moment. Vet has just told us that Sasha has lymphoma, my heart is breaking. The vet says the prognosis is quite poor. She's having tests done on her biopsies to tell us what kind of lymphoma it is - T or B. Would be grateful if anybody has any experience of this. Could we also please trouble you for some reiki. Thank you Mandy x
  9. Happy Gotcha Day Sweetheart I cant believe how big she's got
  10. Beautiful Sasha was one of Rochdales Poundies. She is the sweetest, most gentle, most loving girl, she's the light of my life and we will be forever grateful to you - keep up the good work.
  11. Ok - here she is (I hope)

  13. Hi, my name's Mandy and I live in Leyland with John my OH and our dog Sasha. We got Sasha in November 2005 after seeing her in the poundies list on dogpages - the best thing we have ever done. I was told about this site by Raiye - thanks . Looking forward to reading about you all and your dogs. Mandy x
