She sounds like a little devil - just as she should be
Welcome home little girl
-
I am so sorry
Enjoy wherever your adventure has moved on to, Teddy Texas
-
So sorry Kazz
-
She is adorable Sue
-
She's beautiful, I love the black dogs with greying faces too
She looks very at home - and what a lucky girl she is
-
I'm so sorry, what a shock for it to happen so suddenly
Thinking of you at this sad time
-
I'm so sorry your special girl has gone

I'd like a house overlooking the sea and a private beach where the family could swim and lie around reading in the sun and the dogs could run to their hearts content.
Possibly not in the UK, as I'd like perpetual sunshine as well please. A small Mediterranean island would do quite well
-
That's fabulous news Nige, she's a very lucky little girl to have found her way to you
We need lots more pics - and some of Cliffy too
-
So sorry the news wasn't good, am thinking of you and Boo
-
Lots of good thoughts for Boo, please let us know how he gets on

I'm still here. Is anybody else..........................?

Our printed postcards aren't expensive at all, we got a very good deal on them and they worked out cheaper than the flimsy paper flyers we used to have, so I'm sure we could supply some to slip into your books Lynne - ask Amy if she can send you some

He is lovely, what a happy little chap
Thanks so much for taking him Jeanne, I feel very sorry for his previous owner who loved him very much

There is an organisation called pro Dogs Direct which helps owners rehome directly from their own homes
http://www.prodogsdirect.org.uk/pdd_working.htm
I haven't had any personal contact or experience of them, so you would need to be sure you are happy with how they operate

Oh dear, why did I have to look? I really can't have another dog
We'd be happy to advertise him on the Oldies site if the rescue want us to.

My vet has an article about this on his website which I think is quite sensible and balanced. He definitely feels that a lot of the panic about lungworm has been stirred up by the drug companies.
http://www.purtonvets.co.uk/purtonblog/2011/04/lungworm.html
He reckons he hasn't seen a case of lungworm for five years in this area, so I don't intend to start changing my dogs' worming routine.

You do realise that pictures of your gang are compulsory?
Welcome to The Refuge and to the Oldies foster team!

Great quote - says it all really.

I bet somebody else knocked it over and China was just helping by cleaning it up
-
It's also on Sky Atlantic again tonight - 10:00 I think?

Not to mention the incest, dragons, (eventually) I think I read all five books back to back and we are still waiting for more. I believe Dancing Dragons is coming out middle of this year.
11th July - the week before I go on holiday. I know what I'll be taking with me

New Sky TV blockbuster based on George R R Martin's fabulous 'Song of Ice & Fire' books, loosely based on the Wars of the Roses with a bit of magic and fantasy stuff thrown in. I managed to miss it last night
There's a review and some info here:
If it's anything like the books it's hugely complex with plots within plots and twists and turns all over the place - but also very violent and brutal in places, not one for the children!

I am totally non-religious, no belief in anything really. I just bumble along through life trying not to do too much harm and hoping to do a bit of good sometimes.
One of my close friend is a Sikh and I admire the way her belief is such an active part of her everyday life and guides all her decisions and actions, unlike some of the Christians I know who seem to go to church and then switch off for the rest of the week (not all are like that, obviously).
