suzeanna
I see someone has tweeted to the Sheffield papers, has anyone been in touch with Peak FM?
owl
That was the Doglost Tweet Co-ordinator who does all our tweeting for us. Peak FM was a tremendous help when Diesel first went on the run. I'm waiting for owner Brian to get back to me. His line has been red hot all day, as he has been pushing local publicity. I'm sure he will have done Peak, with any luck he may have got an interview.
owl
Item in Derbyshire Times today about the stolen trap, with a photo of Diesel. Haven't seen it yet, Brian rang last night to tell me.
owl
A man called Doglost after seeing the item about Diesel. He reckons he has seen him twice over the past few days, in a field maybe a mile from where we were trying to trap him in Bolsover. I do hope it's him. owl
It wasn't Diesel but a yellow lab who sometimes has a wander round.
suzeanna
Oh dear..if no food has been taken since the trap went, it certainly seems he was in it. I was telling my daughter about this, and she was rather bemused that a trap would be set then left without being checked long enough for this to happen, but I presume it was overnight? owl
Yes, it was too heavy and set too far away from the road to keep moving it back and forth, and it was padlocked to something. Brian was there at first light but the people must have come in the dark.
suzeanna
The article in the DT wasn't exactly large, I was hoping for more! It also said somewhere else in the paper that Bolsover council are planning up to 20 travellers sites around Bolsover. 20???? Why call yourself a traveller then, you aren't planning on going far. owl
I had hoped for more but was lucky to get it in at all. A lot of people have told me they have seen it though. It may help that it is above an ad for a big cut-price sale! I saw that about the sites, am assuming it means caravan standing spaces not complete sites.
