I did this last year and said I would never ever ever do it again unless sums of money were involved for Dogstar Foundation , so here I am having just agreed to do it again to help raise funds for the Sirius 500 Appeal

Wiki says

Adam’s Peak (also Adam’s Mount; Sinhalese Samanalakanda – “butterfly mountain”, Tamil Sivanolipatha Malai – சிவனொலி பாதமலை), is a 2,243 metres (7,359 ft) tall conical mountain located in central Sri Lanka. It is well-known for the Sri Pada “sacred footprint”, a 1.8 m rock formation near the summit, in Buddhist tradition held to be the footprint of the Buddha, in Hindu tradition that of Shiva and in Muslim tradition that of Adam.

Sam says

its 4 hours of total hell , climbing over 7000 feet , including 1500 killer steps at the end when your legs are like jelly. The stunning views and sunrise do make up for it , then its another 2.5 hours to descend and 3 days of not being able to walk without wincing.

just look how high it is , thats why you do it at night so you can’t see just how long you have left to climb !

If you would like to sponsor me and my wobbly legs you can do so via our Sirius 500 Justgiving page

Thank you

We'll sponsor you. Emily is going to do a sponsored silence for Dogstar. I think she'd find climbing a mountain easier

Do you have any sponsor forms or similar with a Dogstar logo? If not I'll try to cobble one together.

Not to worry, I found some blank templates online so have pinched one of those. She is going to take the form & some details on Dogstar and the appeal into school on Monday. She hopes to get all of the staff to sponsor her and her sponsored silence will take place on Wednesday 19th January
