He is a big boy and can be quite dominant with other dogs but may settle with a quiet bitch as long as she was more his own size. He knows some basic commands, has a fairly good recall (with treats), although he does pull on a lead and would need some more work on this. His favourite activity, typical for a lab, is swimming, and he likes to play fetch, but can be easily distracted. Ben is a little food fixated in the kennels, but with his previous owners he was better mannered, and we feel that with a little more training – and in a home environment he would soon regain his manners.
