On radio;
"Scotland Yard has been urged to kill thousands of seized dangerous dogs because of the high cost of taking care of them. Over four years, £10m will be spent on keeping dogs in kennels while their future is being decided.
Lord Toby Harris, a member of the Metropolitan Police Authority, and Alison Green of DDA Watch, debate whether police should have responsibility for dangerous dogs."

Should we start shooting actual criminals because it costs us lots of money to care for them for years while waiting for them to come to trial?

Well, of course. In fact lets shoot anyone who looks shifty, it'll save lots of money, and means that any spiteful person who 'reports' someone for looking wrong can have them shot by the state.

Every owner and dog is entitled to their day in Court and a fair defence & that right must be maintained (& if necessary defended in the Courts) regardless of costs or what the likes of Malthouse, Toby Harris & Supt Pendry may think or find expedient
