Emi 6 Year Old Doberman X

Recommended Posts

emi2.jpg

Emi is a lovely Doberman or Rottie cross girl who is 6 years old. Sadly her owner died and so she is now looking for someone to take her place. She is very wary of men until she gets to know them, but someone with the patience to let her come to them and a quiet approach can win her round. She just loves to bring a toy to greet you and then roll on her back for a cuddle. Although Emi has been the perfect guest we feel she needs to be with someone used to guard breeds, as she may be protective in a home environment. Her fear of men may also be linked to something in her past as she was brought over from America as a pup. She is house trained, affectionate and obedient but does pull on a lead. She travels well and behaved very well when she was at the Vets. Obviously she cannot go with children but we really feel she would make someone a lovely loyal and affectionate companion. Although she happily shares her kennel with a boisterous male lab cross we feel she would be better as an only dog or with a quieter boy. She has had both cruciates operated on and so shouldn't be over exercised. Is there someone out there willing to give this lovely girl a chance? Ideally we would like to find someone in the area who is willing to foster her in the first instance with a view to giving her a permanent home if all goes well. We need someone who is willing to follow the advice given by our behaviourist to ensure Emi has the best chance of a successful re-homing. If you can offer Emi that special home please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on [email protected]
