Fee
Emps (short for Emperor) is an 8 year old Terrier Cross who came into Oldies Club care from another rescue. He’s now in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk and is described by his foster family as faithful, playful, loving and laid-back. Emps currently lives with two female dogs and they all get along very well. He’s a nicely behaved boy and should be fine with children, but as he’s quite bouncy and jumps up when he’s excited he’d be better homed with children aged 5 years or over. Emps doesn’t mind being left alone for reasonable periods of time, but he’s very affectionate and loves curling up close with his owner, so he’d be happiest with someone who can be around for most of the day. Emps is good in the car and he enjoys being out in the garden, especially if he can find a nice stick to chew on! He’s still quite an active boy, so he likes to get out for regular walks and he’s good on the lead. He’ll listen to your commands when he’s off lead, but does like to follow your directions in his own time! Emps before his trim! This is what his foster mum has to say about him; Emps really deserves a loving forever home. His previous owner rescued him once and now he needs rescuing again. I’ve been very impressed by how quickly he’s settled into his foster home. He was very quiet when he arrived and unfortunately he’d had to spend a couple of months in rescue kennels, but it only took a few days of love and attention for his personality to shine through. He is going to make a fantastic and loyal companion for the right person. Doesn’t he sound just perfect! Emps is neutered, vaccinated, wormed and flea-treated. He has suffered from a skin allergy which made him uncomfortable and he nibbled around the base of his tail and legs. He’s had a course of steroids and this made a big improvement. He now has a daily food supplement called Boracutin which will help to keep his skin in good condition. ———————- If you’d like to enquire about Emps, please refer to our Adoption Procedures for information about the adoption process.
