the problems have been caused by the host upgrading a lot of their kit.
tbh it shouldn't have been that much hassle but some things went wrong and stuff...
we probably batter their servers more than anyone else so we tend to notice stuff more than anyone else. it also means we are the first to raise a support ticket and because it looks like an isolated incident it doesnt get their top priority
have had a good chat with them and have been assured that things will not get that bad again
if it does though we will look to move hosts

Anyone else having problems getting onto the Refuge tonight? It's taken me ages to get here to post this, keep getting a "timed out" message:
Network Timeout

we'd been having all that for months. plus the green bar taking ages on links.
however, this has all stopped since yesterday with the introduction of the new board.
which is great.
