Pingu Posted June 25, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 25, 2009 the problems have been caused by the host upgrading a lot of their kit. tbh it shouldn't have been that much hassle but some things went wrong and stuff... we probably batter their servers more than anyone else so we tend to notice stuff more than anyone else. it also means we are the first to raise a support ticket and because it looks like an isolated incident it doesnt get their top priority have had a good chat with them and have been assured that things will not get that bad again if it does though we will look to move hosts Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's taken me ages to get here to post this, keep getting a "timed out" message: Network Timeout The operation timed out when attempting to contact www.therefuge.org.uk. The requested site did not respond to a connection request and the browser has stopped waiting for a reply. * Could the server be experiencing high demand or a temporary failure? Try again later. * Are you unable to browse other sites? Check the computer's network connection. * Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing. * Still having trouble? Consult your network administrator or Internet provider for assistance.
