Dawgdogs Rescue

Recommended Posts

Dawgdogs is a rescue run by Helen Griffiths and a group of dedicated volunteers and foster mums.We take all dogs that are in need of homes and all our homes are home checked. We tend to rehome within a 25 mile radius so that we can home check and be on hand in case of a problem.

All of our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and have to be nuetured once in a new home if not already done.We run a scheme where the new homes are given a voucher to do this.

We are always looking for good homes who will provide lots of love for dogs that have rarely experienced this.

Dillon ( a.k.a. The Rope Dog ), a collie cross 1 - 1 1/2 years old.

Poor Dillon has spent all his life tied up in a locked shed.

He gets on well with other dogs and people, and is a very nice, gentle dog

ERNIE

Ernie is a 10 year old cocker spaniel whose family emigrated to Australia.

He is good with other dogs and children, perhaps not cats. He is very affectionate although possibly a bit hard of hearing. He really loves his walks !!

Bob has just arrived at the Rescue

having been rescued at the eleventh hour

as he was due to be put to sleep yesterday.

He is a german shepherd cross,

short haired and about a year old.

He is friendly with other dogs

and is a really nice dog but appears to be frightened of men at the moment.

FLINT

Flint will need a quiet home as he doesn’t ask for much.

He is quite content to mind his own business and is gentle and quiet.

He gets on well with other dogs but does not need to be homed with one.

He is also good with children and loves the car.

All in all a thoroughly nice dog who will

make someone an excellent companion.

Also :

Dillons’ sister has now been rescued from the farm in Ireland where they were both kept in a shed and will be with us next weekend.

Also:

A 7yr old pug cross

Also:

A 7yr old jack russell terrier who is calm and placid
