Light A Candle For Your Oldie

I have set up an "Oldie" group (you can only use up to five letters for the name of the group) on the gratefulness website. Just thought I would post a link here in case anyone wanted to light a candle for an oldie :flowers:

The candles burn down after 48 hours, but you can go in and light another to keep one burning. The group will remain as long as at least one candle is burning for an Oldie

Yes of course Selina :flowers:

I "borrowed" the idea from others, including someone who had already set up a group for pound dogs (there's a pinned thread in Rainbow Bridge) :flowers:

Just remember the candles burn for about 48 hours, so if you want to keep your candles burning, you will need to go in and light a new one every couple of days, which will help to keep the group "alive" too :flowers:

Just been reading some of the other messages, its so sad but so warming to know all these dogs are still remembered and loved.

Yes, I've been sobbing every time I read one, but it is lovely to see so many animals loved and remembered, you're absolutely right :flowers:

The group is there for any oldie, not just dogs and not just Oldies Club ones :flowers:

What a lovely idea, thank you Ange :flowers:

I've added a candle for my dear little Callie, who we lost a year ago tomorrow :mecry:

:GroupHug: To borrow a line from Jo's memorial this week no one ever really dies just as long as there is someone here to remember. Hoping that today has brought you some of your happier memories of Callie to mind Fee, not just a sadness at her loss and that Callie is having fun at the Bridge. :flowers:
