we are just having a nice day together, take the dogs for a lovely long walk with Grandma Squirrel and Gracie and then back to ours for a nice roast dinner with a realeat veggie roast thing and veggie stuffing

take a nap and then all settle down to to watch Doctor Who

totally stress free and very enjoyable :jumpy:

I love the peace and quiet when most people are indoors with Christmas dinner, and I usually take the dogs out somewhere then.

W don't do Christmas here except for sending a few cards and do presents for close family only. But we do bring it loads of greenery in to decorate the house for Solstice.

As I hate Xmas with a passion but have a 3yro I will make concessions and do the usual Oh look Nathan, Santa's brought presents! and after that I will go and do my dogs as every day. No pesky inlaws, no pesky family (safe the small man and he is everything but pesky :D) - so it's going to be a day like any other apart from the presents for Nathan.

I haven't enjoyed Christmas for a few years, after losing both parents. However, I do feel more excited this year. My sister and her family are coming on Christmas day and my brother and his family are coming over on Boxing Day. Other 'big' news is that we have just been approved as foster carers and we have will have our new foster child for Christmas, in fact he is moving in this Saturday! As my son is now at uni we don't get ot see him very often and he will be here for Christmas. So lots to be excited about!

This is our first year in the New Forest. My parents won't come down for the day as they don't like driving in the dark back to London and they will not let my dogs into their house in London, so me and the kids will be taking the dogs for a long walk in the forest in the morning, coming back having brunch and then we will have Christmas dinner and relax

Unstressful and perfect the way I like it
